Amazing Video – Entire Audience at NJ Gun Hearing Disobeys Senators Orders, Recites Pledge
There was some question that when Second Amendment activist, James Kaleda, was removed from the hearing if the audience was clapping for him or for his removal. I think this video, which took place immediately following that, should clear things up. MORE HERE

As the gun control tyranny continues is the “sleeping giant” beginning to awaken? As is becoming common practice, when those elected officials are called upon to hear the voice of those that elected them and that they are to serve, they are told that they are out of order. Perhaps it is time to change the order and those elected.
Adam Kokesh Arrested at Smoke down, a Pro – Marijuana Demonstration
0A word of warning, the quality leaves much to be desired and the audio is extremely loud and distorted in the beginning. Despite this it is worth sharing, just turn the volume down in the beginning, way down.
The pro – marijuana demonstration was held today in Philadelphia, and as with most peaceful demonstrations, arrests were made. This seems a bit bizarre as I believe Philadelphia effectively decriminalized possession of small amounts of marijuana back around mid 2010. It would appear, based on the video, that the police had a predetermined mission and were waiting for their cue to move in. Not sure what were the charges, if any, against Adam Kokesh and the other participants arrested, or if any laws were even violated. Wondering how many serious crimes were taking place in the city of brotherly love while so many police were focused on this relatively small demonstration?
Rep. Mike Kelly Rips IRS Chief A New One, Gets Standing O From Gallery

Appearing before the House Weighs and Means Committee today, exiting IRS chief Steven Miller couldn’t do much more than just squirm in his chair as Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa vented the frustrations felt by millions of Americans.
Miller was immediately intimidated by Kelly’s tone and after a few “erms” and “uh-uh-uhs” Kelly let ‘er rip:
“If you think it’s uncomfortable sitting over there you ought to be a private individual when the IRS is across from you asking you questions!”
Here’s a few of Kelly’s best punches:
“I have a grandson who’s afraid to get out of bed at night because he thinks there’s someone under the bed that’s going to grab him. And I think most Americans feel that way about the IRS.”
“It’s always these are low-level people that pushed the wrong button.”
“Yes or no, does it come back to DC?” (Yes – one of Miller’s few coherent responses.)
“So DC and Cincinnati are pretty well connected?”
“This kind of reconfirms that, you know what, they [the IRS] can do almost anything they want to anybody they want, anytime they want. This is very chilling for the American people.”
“This is a Pandora’s Box that has been opened and I don’t think we can get the lid back on it.”
“I don’t believe that the White House just found out about this in a news report, the president happened to grab a TV shot or just read Mr. George’s report and said, ‘You know.. what… anybody heard about this before?’”
“I got to tell you, where you’re sitting, you should be outraged — and you’re not. The American people should be outraged, and they are.”
“This reconfirms everything the American public believes! This is a huge blow to the faith and trust the American people have in their government!”
“Is there any limit to the scope of where you folks can go?”
“It’s sure as hell intimidating. And I don’t’ know that I got any answers from you today.”
“There’s a heck of a lot more that has to come out in this.”
“I am more concerned today than I was before. The fact that you all can do just about anything you want to anybody. You know, you can put anybody out of business that you want anytime you want.”
“You talk about how you’re a horribly run organization? You’re on the other side of the fence.”
“And when the IRS comes in, you’re not allowed to be shoddy, you’re not allowed to be run horribly, you’re not allowed to make mistakes, you’re not allowed to do one damn thing that doesn’t come in compliance. If you do, you’re held responsible right then.”
“This is absolutely an overreach and this is an outrage for all America!”
US Suspends Constitution in Permanent World War on Terror
1Source: http://www.activistpost.com
By Eric Blair
Two disturbing developments have occurred in the last couple of days that have gone relatively unnoticed compared to the recent IRS, AP, and Benghazi scandals.
First, the senate is debating an expansion of the already broad powers of the 2001 Authorization to Use Military Force (AUMF) so the U.S. can essentially engage any area in the world in the war on terror, including America. Which brings us to the second development: the Pentagon has recently granted itself police powers on American soil.
Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Sheehan told Congress yesterday that the AUMF authorized the US military to operate on a worldwide battlefield from Boston to Pakistan. Sheehan emphasized that the Administration is authorized to put boots on the ground wherever the enemy chooses to base themselves, essentially ignoring the declaration of war clause in the US Constitution.
Senator Angus King said this interpretation of the AUMF is a “nullity” to the Constitution because it ignores Congress’ role to declare war. King called it the “most astoundingly disturbing hearing” he’s been to in the Senate.
Even ultra-hawk John McCain agreed that the AUMF has gone way beyond its authority.
“This authority … has grown way out of proportion and is no longer applicable to the conditions that prevailed, that motivated the United States Congress to pass the authorization for the use of military force that we did in 2001,” McCain said.
Glenn Greenwald wrote an excellent piece describing how this hearing reveals the not-so-secret plan to make the war on terror a permanent fixture in Western society.
Greenwald writes:
It is hard to resist the conclusion that this war has no purpose other than its own eternal perpetuation. This war is not a means to any end but rather is the end in itself. Not only is it the end itself, but it is also its own fuel: it is precisely this endless war – justified in the name of stopping the threat of terrorism – that is the single greatest cause of that threat.
A self-perpetuating permanent war against a shadowy undefinable enemy appears to be the future of American foreign policy. How convenient for the war machine and tyrants who claim surveillance is safety.
But perhaps most disturbing of all of this is the military’s authority to police American streets as if it was in civil war. For all those still in denial that America is a militarized police state, this should be the ultimate cure to your delusion.
Jeff Morey of AlterNet writes:
By making a few subtle changes to a regulation in the U.S. Code titled “Defense Support of Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies” the military has quietly granted itself the ability to police the streets without obtaining prior local or state consent, upending a precedent that has been in place for more than two centuries.
The most objectionable aspect of the regulatory change is the inclusion of vague language that permits military intervention in the event of “civil disturbances.” According to the rule: “Federal military commanders have the authority, in extraordinary emergency circumstances where prior authorization by the President is impossible and duly constituted local authorities are unable to control the situation, to engage temporarily in activities that are necessary to quell large-scale, unexpected civil disturbances.”
A law from 1878 called the Posse Comitatus Act was put in place to prevent the Department of Defense from interfering with local law enforcement. But now, the DoD claims they’ve had this authority for over 100 years.
Chile hundreds of dead animals washed up on shore

Residents in Chile discover around 600 dead animals washed up on the shore in Punta Choros, on the country’s northern coast. Officials fear the deaths were caused by blast fishing, explosions used by fishermen to rid the water of sea lions and seals that compete with them for fish stocks. Fishing is one of the most valuable industries to Chile, which has more than 4,000 km (2,500 miles) of coast.

It is my hope that the combination of content and links to other sources of information in this simple blog may help awaken a few of the sleeping masses and encourage and inspire others to initiate their own research, ultimately for each person to be a light to help awaken others.
