Iowa GOP Co-Chair Bill Schickel Slams the Ron Paul Domination of the Iowa GOP
0Bill Schickel, the Iowa GOP Co-Chair, was upset with the dominance of positions held by Ron Paul supporters and members of Campaign for Liberty, stating about the situation, “that is disenfranchising to many, many of our Republicans”. Later he mentions that he is running to ‘bring all of these groups together”.
By the way, Schickel failed in his bid and the supporters of Ron Paul and Liberty are still holding the positions of chairman, next co-chair and treasurer.

Are voters finally fed-up enough to go for the block?

From the far left to the far right and everywhere in between, American voters are more dissatisfied with the choices of only Barack Obama or Mitt Romney than perhaps anytime in our nation’s history. Thanks to the internet and alternative media sources, voters also are more aware than ever before that there are other choices on the ballot or available via certified write-in status and are finding out about them long before the shock of seeing their actual ballot on election day when it is often too late to research who the other candidates are or what they stand for.
The sham and concerted effort by the entire political system itself and the national mainstream media to try to hide, belittle or exclude the other choices has perhaps reached such a truly un-American level of stench that maybe, just maybe, voters will have finally decided that they have had enough.
The truth is that millions of Americans are finding alternative party, independent and official write-in candidates that they don’t have to plug their nose to vote for and can get excited about. Whether it is Ron Paul that is expected to be a certified write-in candidate in at least a dozen states, Dr. Jill Stein or Gary Johnson that appeal to social liberals, Vigil Goode or others that appeal to social conservatives, the truth is that the field of candidates running outside the 2-party sham on America are offering real choices that people can support. What they seem to have in common is their recognition that we must get the federal government back in adherence with our constitution, defend our freedoms and finally bring our troops home.
If voters finally stand up on their own set of principles and ideals and just vote for the best individual candidate rather than settling for a major party label, at least a powerful message of blowback will finally be heard in Washington, DC. If enough people reject Obama and Romney, it could result in some state victories for the other candidates. If each of the most popular alternative candidates were able to pick off victories in a state or two each, it could be possible to block both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney from reaching the required 270 electoral votes necessary to win the election outright. Then it would be thrown to the US House to decide and they would of course choose either Romney or Obama. The important thing though is that the 2-party monster of menace would never be the same again.
A group of teenagers put together a video plea to vote only for candidates that will stand up for our founding principles and save their future. They are involved in the organization www.im2moro.org. It is currently going viral across the web. (see video) Will the adults actually take their advice and vote on principle or cave yet again to party loyalty that is bringing our nation to its knees? Aren’t we supposed to be electing a person to live on Pennsylvania Avenue, not a party?

Gary Johnson’s false claims spinning out of control

Gary Johnson spinning the truth

During Gary Johnson‘s entire campaign as the Libertarian nominee, he has consistently been making the claim that he is the only 3rd party candidate that will be on all 50 states’ ballots even though that would be impossible for any candidate to claim as the ballot access battle continues to rage on for all 3rd party candidates. As if this claim has not been bad enough considering he was well aware last week that the Oklahoma Supreme Court already delivered their decision to not allow him on their ballot, he is not only continuing to make the 50 state claim but his false exaggerated claims about his other opponents’ ballot access has continued to grow to the point of being egregiously dishonest.
In a recent campaign swing through Minnesota, he now claims in a segment broadcast by Minnesota Public Radio, that his opponent Virgil Goode is supposedly only going to be on 8 states’ ballots and that Jill Stein will only be on 30. A simple google search will show you that the latest real facts are that Virgil Goode is now on 26 state ballots and counting and that Jill Stein has already secured 38 states and counting. When you add to these numbers the fact that these candidates are also being set-up as certified write-in candidates in states they are not successful in getting on the ballot, it would be more honest to project at this point that Johnson, Goode and Stein will all be available to vote for in over 40 states and that once again, there will not be any 3rd party candidate able to secure all 50 state full ballot access without relying on write-in status.
In his stump speech rhetoric, he continues to use these false claims about the other candidates supposedly not being viable to launch himself into a round of having to only compare himself to Obama and Romney. As his routine goes along, he then can falsely claim a long list of, “I am the ONLY candidate that……..” based on his own false claims that the other 3rd party choices should not even be taken into consideration, therefore they don’t count in his long list of claims comparing himself to the major party candidates.

TAMPA, August 30, 2012 – Anyone who has followed the Republican Party presidential nominating process knows the typical Ron Paul supporter. He or she is young, passionate about Paul’s platform, and willing to ride buses all night and knock on doors all day to support Ron Paul. Most often, he or she has never participated in the political process before.
Doug Wead couldn’t be less typical in that respect. Wead is a longtime Republican Party insider. He’s worked on seven Republican presidential campaigns, starting with Barry Goldwater’s in 1964. He’s also worked in three administrations, for Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. He has entertained presidents at his house and visited theirs.
Before 2008, he didn’t know who Ron Paul was and wouldn’t have agreed with him on much…
