Chicago, the Windy City, now has some new turbulence blowing through town.  It seems that the Cook County Medical Examiner has started posting photos of unclaimed dead bodies on it’s official web site.

As reported by Craig Wall, FOX 32 News reporter for www.myfoxchicago.com

Cook Co. to begin posting photos of unclaimed bodies online

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

For the first time, the Cook County medical examiner’s office has posted photos of unclaimed bodies on their website in an effort to help identify them.

The program is generating some controversy because of the graphic images, but for the sake of people missing loved ones, this is a decision where the medical examiner believes the ends justify the means.

CHECK OUT THE NEW GUN THAT ALLOWS COPS TO SHOOT AND CAPTURE YOUR DNA

A new tool that would allow law enforcement to prevent criminals from running away or disappearing into a crowd before arrest was highlighted last week at The SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

The High Velocity DNA Tagging system by the U.K.-based security company Selectamark was introduced with police officers in a riot situation in mind. Coming in both pistol and rifle form, the tool would allow police to remain 30 to 40 meters from the target and tag them with a SelectaDNA High Velocity pellet that contains a unique DNA code to ensure the correct person is apprehended later.

“On contact with the target the uniquely-coded SelectaDNA solution leaves a synthetic DNA trace mark that will enable the relevant authorities to confirm or eliminate that person from their involvement in a particular situation and could ultimately lead to arrest and prosecution,” Selectamark Managing Director Andrew Knights said in a statement.

Well let us see how this plays out once on the street and the first wrongful imprisonment case goes to court?  A peaceful crowd of people and one or more people start a situation and a few innocent bystanders get “tagged” and wrongly arrested, hmm.  And what, if any, health hazards based on the explanation in the video?

CN Rail nets $2.6M to move shipments nowhere

CN mystery train crosses border 24 times, never unloads

Leaked documents obtained by CBC News show that a CN train that hauled biodiesel back and forth over the border 24 times in 2010 stood to gain $2.6 million for the shipments, even though the product was never unloaded. (Dave Seglins/CBC)

A CBC news investigation has uncovered a mystery involving unexplained shipments of biodiesel tanker cars moved between Canada and the United States, and back again, that were never unloaded.

According to leaked internal CN documents, the rail company stood to make $2.6 million for the effort.

“CN received shipping directions from the customer, which, under law, it has an obligation to meet,” CN Rail spokesperson Mark Hallman said last week. “CN discharged its obligations with respect to those movements in strict compliance with its obligations as a common carrier, and was compensated accordingly.”

When asked whether CN wasn’t helping to do something strange, Hallman responded: “CN met its obligations as a common carrier and we have no further comment.”

CN employees, although guarded, were more candid.

Last Sane Man on Earth¿

This caught my eye and not possessing a gift to see into the future I am unable to laugh at the man or cry with him.  Still in search of the crystal ball that is about the fortune telling function and not just a desktop fashion statement.  Shopping tips always appreciated :)   Also, comments will be discontinued after 12/20/2012, as anyone can analyze and predict “yesterday”, other than the main stream media that is.  Here is a toast to 12/21/2012, whatever it may bring, based on current politics, could only be an improvement!

RT.com offers up the story below…

Chinese man blows life savings on ark to escape Apocalypse

Lu Zhengai is so scared by the Mayan apocalypse, that’s he’s spent all his money – $160,000 – on building his very own Noah’s Ark.

The barely sea worthy boat, which he claims will save him and his family when flood waters destroy his house, was designed by Lu himself, measures 65 feet and will weigh 80 tons when finished, according to Chinese media.

Land lubber Lu, who lives in the Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region of China – thousands of miles from the sea, began building the boat out of fear for the “doomsday” floods, predicted by the Maya calendar for December 21, 2012.

“I’m afraid that when the end of the world comes in 2012, flood waters will destroy my house, so I took my life savings and invested in the construction of this boat. When the time comes everyone can take refuge in it,” he told the Chinese News Service.

But Lu is not alone, in August the New York Daily News reported that another Chinese man spent two years creating a very different Noah’s Ark – a tough, buoyant yellow ball, perhaps better designed to cope with tsunamis and giant ocean swells than Lu’s flat bottomed barge.

Here are the past two days of seismic activity from the area.

Here is the link to see the graphs and many others from the area.

Today’s graph (10/23/12)

Continuation of the activity for the day:

This one is from the 20th, showing some large EQs from the Belle Rose site:

Here is yesterdays (10/22/12) graphs for Bayou Corne and the EQs.

One thing I would like to know, is why aren’t they putting these EQs on the map?

Also see how the pipeline is floating…… pictures from the 10th of October.

One other thing, look at this picture from today.  Is this another sinkhole that has started nearby or is it just accumulating water from the original sinkhole?

Chinese ships breach Japan’s naval border

Source: http://rt.com

Six Chinese ships have entered Japanese waters near a group of disputed islets claimed by both Beijing and Tokyo, refusing to follow the Japanese coast guard’s orders to vacate its territorial waters.

Currently, six Chinese ships are stationed in the area, which Japan considers its territorial waters. Another two ships are stationed outside the disputed area.

So far, Japanese border patrol ships have not taken any active measures against the Chinese vessels.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed that six surveillance ships had entered waters near the islands.

“The patrol activity is intended to demonstrate the jurisdiction of the Chinese government over the Diaoyu Islands and the adjacent islands, and also to protect the country’s naval interests,” the statement reads.

Japan has created a crisis headquarters in response to the incident. The Chinese Ambassador to Japan has been urgently summoned to a meeting with the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

Assumption Parish, Bayou Corne Louisiana, Sinkhole grew 50 feet in minutes - Worker's boat disappeared in hole. New Video

Notice this picture is from 8/15/12.  The article  below says it grew at least 50 feet since then.  In fact it grew 50 feet within minutes from the way the article reads.

***The size they are saying is not entirely correct in my opinion.  Because during the previous flyovers, you can see that all those trees on the right are in water.  The water in fact goes all the way to the pad at the top right.   When you see the Google Earth pictures I captured in the other post I did, you can tell that area is suppose to be dry, those trees do not sit in water.  The trees may not have sunk yet, but they are still part of the sinkhole due to the water covering the area, again that is my opinion.

La. DNR has required the owner of the butane cavern to give a “Worst case scenario” report, if the sinkhole expands to it.

From article:

“The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality has asked the operator of a salt cavern near a sinkhole in northern Assumption Parish to describe what would happen if all butane that could be held in the underground storage facility were released to the surface, state officials said Tuesday,” David Mitchell of The Advocate reported Thursday.

“Out of an abundance of caution,” Louisiana state officials on Tuesday required Crosstex to provide an updated risk management plan.

DEQ officials disclosed Tuesday “a lot of dynamic things” are happening around the butane cavern, including the expected well drilling, and community concerns have arisen.

According to the latest report, 940,000 barrels of butane are in Crosstex’s storage cavern.

In the Aug. 3 emergency order, DNR put all local oil and gas facility operators on notice that they might be required to empty their storage caverns, shut in their wells or take other action
to ensure safety of the nearby bayou communities.

ABC did a story on their site about worker’s boat that was swallowed up into the sinkhole.   The boat was tied to a tree with the workers in it, when the tree fell and sunk into the sinkhole.  The workers needed to be rescued.

Bayou Corne and Grand Bayou waters percolating with chemicals as residents told not to worry

A community monitor went off in Assumption Parish’s Bayou Corne sinkhole area, now the size of a football field Thursday, reaching an explosive limit of 25.2%, reports WAFB.

After a community monitor went off on Thursday, detecting an explosive limit of 25.2%, authorities say they are “suspicious of the alarm and are investigating for criminal mischief.”

It was revealed Thursday that Department of Natural Resource and industry authorities have been hiding documents and data for over a year that shows Texas Brine’s storage cavern near the sinkhole has had failure problems for a year and is storing radioactive materials.

The breached cavern where the sinkhole is located is 1500 feet from a butane-filled cavern.

During the now ongoing monitoring, officials continue to say that no danger is posed to the community. The mandatory evacuation orders remain in place.
