Why do we sit down when all should be standing
And why do we back down at the critical moment
Like running away from the waves of the ocean
We head for the hills with the high tide approaching
As sand slips away from the castle

When it’s time to stand upright why do we falter
Like placing our freedom on the sacrificial altar
We hold tight to our fears and defend our oppressors
As we fight for their lies and become the transgressors
As pacifists transform to violent aggressors

But I’m only a stranger here
I’m a long long way from my home
And they say I can’t change
All the things I find strange
For what can one man do alone
What can one man do alone

When is the right time to stand up for freedom
Could it be when you start to feel creating children
Who’ll inherit the pain and the debt of this nation
And be slaves to the banks that cause hyper-inflation
Who are masters of commerce, lies, and bad legislation

If you looked in the eyes of a thousand young children
Through fences of razors, their innocence stolen
As the red flag of tyranny flies in the open
Is that when you’ll finally notice

But I’m only a stranger here
I’m a long long way from my home
And they say I can’t change
All the things I find strange
For what can one man do alone
Yes what can one man do alone

I’m only a stranger looking to find better nature in my fellow man
But they keep telling me it’s a sin to be free
And that’s more than I’m willing to stand

Where will you be when the order is given
To censor your mind as free speech is forbidden
As martyrs for peace from the world will be driven
Away by the sound of a bellowing thunder
And choke on the blood of a dream going under

As arrogant men tear up our Constitution
And from every direction we cry R3VOLution!
Standing together and without permission
Soldiers for truth in the war of attrition
The love of our country as our ammunition

But I’m only a stranger here
I’m a long long way from my home
And I’m going to change
All the things I find strange
For I am not one man alone
Yes I’m only a stranger
I’m a long long way from my home
And I’m going to change
All the things I find strange
For I know that I’m not alone
Yes I know that I’m not alone, not alone

Should Undercover Video Be Banned at Livestock Farms?

By Vanessa Carr

Humane Society of the United States

or decades, animal activists have gone undercover to take jobs inside large-scale livestock farms in order to document conditions for farm animals that they say are routinely inhumane. Their hidden camera footage has resulted in criminal charges against owners and workers, plant shutdowns, and after one at a California slaughterhouse in 2008, the largest meat recall in U.S. history.

But these images could soon be made illegal. Legislation pending in five states — Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and New York — would criminalize the actions of activists who covertly film farms. Proponents of the various pieces legislation say that their proposed laws would lead to beneficial consequences, including the protection of such farms from potential terrorist infiltration (preserving the integrity of the food supply) and espionage; the prevention of images that mislead consumers; as well as regulating the job application process to circumvent potential employees from lying in order to be hired. See the legal assault on animal-abuse whistleblowers.

These so-called “ag-gag” bills have ignited a national debate about undercover videos and have raised concerns about free speech and journalists’ and whistleblowers’ ability to report on the farming industry.

TIME traveled to Iowa, the nation’s leading producer of eggs and pork and the first state to propose a ban on undercover videos, with one former investigator for a rare glimpse at how these videos are made and why they are so controversial.

‘Everyone step on his toes!’ Gingrich security harasses Ron Paul supporter

Gingrich gang

(Matt Rouke/AP)

WINDERMERE, Fla.–Next time, Eddie Dillard won’t wear flip-flops.

Dillard, a 29-year-old Ron Paul supporter from this suburb near Orlando, arrived to vote at his precinct at Winderemere Baptist Church early Tuesday morning. Pulling into the parking lot, Dillard noticed a man outside the polling place with a Gingrich sign. He decided to run home, slip into his “Ron Paul Rocks America” T-shirt, grab a “Ron Paul 2012″ sign from his garage, and return to give his candidate some representation outside the precinct after he cast his vote.

Dillard found a quiet spot along a sidewalk lined with tiny American flags and held up his sign. Little did he know, Newt Gingrich had chosen that very spot to make his first Primary Day campaign stop.

When Gingrich’s bus pulled up, Dillard stood silently holding his sign and watched the news-media horde swamp the candidate. Gingrich stepped down from the bus and made a beeline for Dillard. He stopped in front of Dillard and his sign and parked himself for a round of handshaking and pictures with voters. The placement couldn’t have been worse. There was Gingrich, standing with his wife Callista at their first event of the day, and a giant Ron Paul sign floated inches from their crowns.

Noticing the awkward optics, Gingrich aides and security personnel swarmed Dillard, trying to intimidate him into moving. One of Gingrich’s security agents stepped in front of him. When Dillard didn’t budge, the agent lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard’s bare foot and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side like he was stomping out a cigarette. Shocked, Dillard kept his ground and took a picture of the agent with his phone, which was quickly knocked out of his hand. Dillard slipped off his flip-flop to pick up the phone with his foot, and a Gingrich supporter kicked the sandal away.

“Don’t kick me!” Dillard said to the man who knocked away his sandal. More members of Gingrich’s security retinue approached, shoving their shoulders and chests in front of him.

“Just block him!” a Gingrich campaign aide said. “Everyone step on his toes!”

Gingrich supporters handed a “Newt 2012″ yard sign up to the front to put in front of Dillard’s Paul sign. The two signs, zipping back and forth inches from Gingrich’s head, circled each other in the air like fighter jets in a dogfight.

When the candidate finished taking pictures with voters, furious Gingrich aides grilled Dillard.

“If we did this to you, you guys would be furious,” said an aide before stomping back toward the bus. “They have no class. No class.”

As Gingrich pulled away, Dillard looked down at his foot. With the adrenaline pumping, he hadn’t noticed the pain, but now it was starting to sink in. A bruise was forming, and there was a cut mark where the security agent had dug in his heel.

“That was really something,” Dillard said afterwards. “My heart’s racing. Not what I expected to happen today.”

Oliver Stone would vote for Ron Paul over Obama

By Alexa Fee

PALM SPRINGS, CA - JANUARY 08: Director Oliver Stone speaks onstage during the 22nd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center on January 8, 2011 in Palm Springs, California. (Photo by John Shearer/Getty Images For PSFF) Read more:

In an interview with Rock Cellar Magazine, director Oliver Stone said that he would support Ron Paul over Obama in the upcoming presidential elections.

In his newest book, “On History,” Stone discussed America’s current economy, saying that there is “a potential wild card in an internal economic collapse of the empire.”

Stone called America an “empire,” saying that its current spending spree is responsible for the empire’s inevitable collapse. The only person that could potentially prevent this collapse, he said in the interview, is Ron Paul.

“In fact, I think in many ways the most interesting candidate – I’d even vote for him if he was running against Obama – is Ron Paul,” he said.

“He’s the only one of anybody who’s saying anything intelligent about the future of the world.”

Stone went on to criticize Obama’s comments when welcoming home the troops from Iraq. Obama had said that the U.S. had achieved “stability, freedom, and democracy” in Iraq.

“It was the same language that Bush used,” Stone said, “and Obama was the guy who called Iraq a ‘dumb war.’”

Ron Paul is the only candidate, Stone said, who does not “pay obeisance to this hypocrisy that the U.S. is a good force in the world,” a fantasy that the U.S. cannot afford.

Stone is also known for directing Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, W., JFK, and Born on the Fourth of July.

“Sustainable Development”

“Sustainable Development”

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,

Is the United Nations Agenda 21 alive and well in your backyard?
In an effort to answer this question, the answers to many more questions must first be discovered.
What is UN Agenda 21?
Here is link to the actual UN document.
Note here that this is an international agreement to which the United States is a signatory.
The Preamble begins with the statement:
“Humanity stands at a defining moment in history.”
The Preamble ends with the following statement:
“This process marks the beginning of a new global partnership for sustainable development.”
In reading through the preamble you should also take notice of a call for redistribution of wealth, the role of the United Nations being, “key” to the implementation, and the need for non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) to participate in the process.”
How to Fight Back
Mr. Tom Deweese has written a beginners guide on How to Fight Back Against
 Sustainable Development.
“Research: Don’t even begin to open up a fight until you know certain details. First, who are the players in your community? What privately funded “stakeholder” groups are there? What is their agenda? What other communities have they operated in? What projects? What results? Who are their members in your community? Are they residents or did they come from “out of town?” (That could prove to be valuable information later in the fight). Finding this information may be the hardest of your efforts. They like to operate out of the spotlight.”
As I live in Anchorage, AK I used the local municipal codes as a starting point in my research to discover whether or not Agenda 21 had in fact come to the Last Frontier.

Endorse Liberty Broadcasts Half Hour Ron Paul TV Special in Florida

Endorse LibertyEndorse Liberty, a political action committee supporting Ron Paul for President, announced today that it has purchased multiple 30 minute prime time slots on Florida’s WHDT TV, the largest independent broadcaster in Florida and America’s first HD network, to air a special program in advance of the Florida Republican primary. The special features short films about the candidate, including “Blowback,” which outlines Ron Paul’s foreign and military policy for America.

“Blowback” sheds new light on the last 50 years of U.S. policy and explains why U.S. troops overwhelmingly support Paul’s campaign. For Endorse Liberty, known for its humorous depictions of Presidential candidates on YouTube, this television special marks an unprecedented TV buy as well as a stark departure from its comedic roots.

“The other candidates prefer to talk down to Americans in 15- and 30-second sound bites. Ron Paul’s message is too important to get lost in that kind of ridiculous shouting. ‘Blowback’ takes the time to carefully detail the truth of what Americans need to know about our country’s foreign policy,” said Stephen Oskoui of Endorse Liberty. “We like to have fun on our YouTube ‘Fake Politicians’ Channel’, but when American lives are at stake, we — like Ron Paul — are critically serious. After watching ‘Blowback’ viewers will be better informed, and personally moved to help strengthen America at the ballot box.”

For a TV audience tired of tuning in to the History Channel only to be confronted by shows about pawn shops and Big Foot, Endorse Liberty’s Ron Paul special explains clearly and concisely how U.S. policy since the 1950s has led to the current war on terror and how our current foreign policy makes Americans less safe.

Viewers will be shocked by much of the program’s content, learning the truth about:

– “blowback” — unintended consequences of foreign policy

– the unprecedented escalation of military spending in recent years, and

– why U.S. military troops donate five times more to Ron Paul than to Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum combined.

“Ron Paul is known for his sound economic policies and his prediction of the banking crises, but few people know Paul is overwhelmingly supported by the troops who have volunteered to defend our great country, rather than the lobbyists who back the other candidates. While Newt Gingrich calls himself a historian, Ron Paul is the only candidate with actual history on his side,” continued Oskoui. “We believe that when presented with facts and not just sound bites, the intelligence and common sense of Florida’s voters will prevail. If you really listen to the troops — not the lobbyists and not the politicians — you’ll see that defending Americans in America, according to the Constitution, is really the strongest path forward for us all.”

Endorse Liberty’s TV special will begin airing on WHDT TV Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 PM EST, with replays on Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29 and Monday, January 30 at 9:00 PM EST. Check for additional airings. Viewers outside of Florida can watch the program for free at

WHDT is the largest independent broadcaster in Florida, reaching more than 1 million subscriber households and 3.5 million viewers in St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. WHDT Miami and WHDT West Palm Beach were the first stations in America to being broadcasting in HD. WHDT airs on Comcast 438 in HD and Comcast 17 in Standard definition; AT&T 1044 HD and 44 Standard.

Why does the military seem to be preparing for urban warfare in the United States?

By Madison Ruppert

Editor of End the Lie

Urban Combat drill

Officers of 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, "Ready First" 1st Armored Division, participate in an urban combat exercise at a training facility on Fort Bliss, Texas, May 11-12, 2011 (Photo credit: Staff Sgt. Joseph Wilbanks) More at -

Recently I published an article covering the January 22-26 multi-agency exercises being conducted in the Los Angeles area.As I outlined in the article, this is in fact part of a broader trend of joint military-police drills (which often include other agencies, hence the “multi-agency” label) that have been occurring across the United States.

It seems hard to ignore the fact that the armed forces of the United States are training for urban warfare, not urban warfare in the Middle East, but instead here in our own nation.

This is becoming painfully clear due to the fact that the military trains for what they think they’re going to do.

If they are planning to fight in the desert, they would train in the desert and obviously if they are going to be fighting in a metropolitan setting in the United States, they would train in an American city.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what we are witnessing: increasing amount of training in urban American environments.

The Los Angeles drill is just a microcosmic example of this, and one of the more disturbing developments is the announcement of a “mock city roughly the size of downtown San Diego” which has been erected recently at the Twentynine Palms military base.

This is located northeast of San Diego and cost the taxpayer $170 million with the intention of training American military forces to wage urban warfare.

According to the Marine Corps, the facility boasts a staggering 1,560 buildings.

The Corps are quick to highlight that it “will allow troops to practice and refine skills that can be used around the world,” even though it is clearly aimed at preparing troops for warfare in the United States.

The reason this is quite obvious is that urban warfare is radically different depending on the country you are in. This is evidenced by similar mock cities being erected to mimic a city in Afghanistan, a training facility which would not help troops prepare for war in a large American city.

In fact, the article on in which this project is detailed mentions the mock Afghan villages, while failing to point out that this is radically different than the previously erected training sites.

This new mock city “is one of the largest and most elaborate” with a whopping seven separate mock city districts spanning a massive 274 acres of desert.

There are fake hotels, markets and other businesses which boast actors who create scenarios to challenge the soldiers.

These scenarios reportedly range from humanitarian relief to peacekeeping missions to police work and, of course, direct combat missions, according to the Marine Corps.

This new facility will allow over 15,000 Marines and Sailors to simultaneously engage in training missions, which can even include operating in the nearly 1,900 feet of underground tunnels in the complex.

The massive mock city also includes a manmade riverbed, dozens of courtyards and compounds which will give trainees practice searching for escape tunnels, hiding spots and weapons caches in an urban environment.
