40,000 Laws Passed In The U.S. In 2011

Funny thing regarding the anti-voter fraud move mentioned in states to include Tennessee.  As a resident of Tennessee when voting in the 2008 presidential vote I was requested to show a state ID.  So has this new state law turned the request into a requirement, I’ll dig into that tomorrow.

Regarding voter fraud, understood that it does exist.  Tens of thousands voted for Obama despite the fact that they had passed away before the election.  The  bigger threat is not in who votes bet who counts the votes.  We all know, or should know, that Iowa has stated they are relocating the vote counting location to an undisclosed location.  Now if that does not ring the tone of transparency and accountability right down the toilet I am not sure what does.  What say you?

American Idol Kelly Clarkson Endorses Ron Paul – Attacks & Record Sales

Kelly Clarkson Credits: MTV

American Idol sensation Kelly Clarkson sent out some communications on Twitter and WhoSay Wednesday expressing her choice for president in the 2012. Kelly boldly announced “I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance,” and “If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t.”

This was quite a courageous stand for the musical star hailing from Texas.  Most in her position would have only one concern, that being record sales and the profits derived from them.  Clarkson is not only a fan of Ron Paul but also of the idea of limited government.  Not unexpected the attacks and harassment started coming her way by those that either uneducated regarding Dr. Paul’s voting record or absorbed with a crafted smear campaign that has been launched.

Addressing the criticism of her endorsement of Ron Paul, Clarkson later tweeted:

“I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent. I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women’s rights, men’s rights, white/black/purple/orange rights. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, he’s my favorite.”

Clarkson later told an angry Twitter follower that “I have never heard that he’s a racist? I definitely don’t agree with racism, that’s ignorant.” She told another that, “I love all people and could care less if you like men or women. I have never heard that Ron Paul is a racist or homophobe?”

The pop star continued her defense, saying: “Man my eyes have been opened to so much hate tonight. If y’all ever disagree with something I say please don’t feel the need to attack me. I will listen to what you say and any articles or viewpoints you have when you say it with respect. Being hateful is not a healthy way to get people to see or hear you. I was raised to respect people and their decisions and beliefs and I hope you will grant me the same decency. If you don’t agree with me simply unfollow me. It’s really that easy. I hope you don’t because I would love the chance to hear what you have to say but if you’re so blinded by hate you can’t seek peace and progress then that is your unfortunate prerogative.”

Appreciative supporters of Ron Paul returned support for Clarkson, as posts appeared on Twitter, Facebook and other locations online calling for a Kelly Clarkson Musicbomb.  The message spread with excellent results.  As on writing this post Kelly Clarkson record sales are up 200%, pushing Clarkson up in the ratings from #39 to #13.

With all the battles ahead I am happy to report this battle between good and evil, good is winning! :)

UPDATED: As of 6:00 PM EST Kelly Clarkson has had an ever increasing sales presence.  Sales of her new album are now up 442% pushing her up to #7!  Way to go Kelly and to all that appreciate her speaking up and are showing Kelly their support!

You can show support and purchase the new Kelly Clarkson album her at Amazon.

Bachmann campaign loses second key staffer in Ron Paul flap

By NBC’s Jamie Novogrod and Alex Moe

Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann’s campaign lost another high-ranking staff member on Thursday after that staffer defended another former Bachmann official’s defection to a rival campaign.

Wes Enos, Bachmann’s political director, has left the campaign, spokeswoman Alice Stewart confirmed to NBC News on Thursday evening.

The resignation comes on the heels of last night’s announcement by Iowa state Sen. Kent Sorenson, who had served as Bachmann’s Iowa chairman, that he had stepped down from that position to support Texas Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign instead.

Yesterday, Enos publicly defended Sorenson, an Iowa state Senator, against charges voiced by Bachmann that Sorenson had accepted money from the Paul campaign, in violation of state law. (This narrative is disputed by Sorenson himself.)

“I can’t in good conscious watch a good man like Kent Sorenson be attacked as a sell-out,” Enos told NBC News on Wednesday night, insisting that Sorenson felt personal loyalty to colleagues in the state legislature backing Paul.

A similar statement from Enos was released via the Ron Paul campaign shortly after midnight today.

Reached via text message today, Enos told NBC News, of his departure from the Bachmann campaign: “It was a mutual thing. I knew when I undermined [Bachmann's] statement last night that I effectively was tendering my resignation.”

Enos adds he has no “ill will” toward Bachmann.

That hasn’t stalled the emerging feud between the Bachmann and Paul campaigns.

Bachmann re-iterated her charge against Sorenson at a campaign stop on Thursday, saying that Sorenson had told her he had been “offered a great deal of money” to support Ron Paul, but had given her campaign assurances he would stay.

“He said that he would be staying. He was with me at our campaign stop in Indianola,” Bachmann said.

Sorenson joined Bachmann at a Pizza Ranch in Indianola yesterday, where he spoke with voters as he stood by Bachmann’s side. Later, he declined to speak on her behalf, citing dental work he had received earlier in the day.

“I’m numb, so I’m afraid I’ll start drooling,” Sorenson told the crowd, to laughs.

Today, Bachmann told reporters that, “He told all of our campaign that he was definitely on board and then he got in his car and he went and announced that he was going with the Ron Paul campaign.”

The visit to the Indianola event followed a discussion over the phone Tuesday, Bachmann said, in which Sorenson told her he had been offered a “great deal of money” to defect to the Paul campaign.

Bachmann’s campaign is going down the toilet and she is desperately seeking sympathy instead of trying to rally support.  Her constant attacks on the only statesman and conservative candidate and continued warmongering and fearmongering are playing out.

So Who Is Behind The Ron Paul Attacks?

The US State Dept funds a group called the FDD – Foundation for Defense of Democracies. This is a neocon think-tank where the Ron Paul attacks are originating. Specifically from a guy named James Kirchick. And guess who’s an advisor at FDD? Newt Gingrich.

google: Gingrich Skulking Behind Ron Paul Attacks

Gingrich a “Distinguished Advisor” at Think-Tank Where Ron Paul Attacks Originated.  Tony Cartalucci, Contributing Writer
Activist Post

GOP presidential contender Newt Gingrich, a corporate-financier sponsored Council on Foreign Relations member also was a “distinguished advisor” at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), a warmongering, Neo-Con think-tank and the architects of both the costly unending wars America has been fighting for the last 2 decades and the resulting war profiteering. The FDD is also the same think-tank from which attacks against Ron Paul are being launched via FDD “fellow” James Kirchick.

Image: A screenshot from FDD’s website featuring James Kirchick’s profile. Kirchick is leading an attack on GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul, falsely accusing him of being racist and “antisemitic.” The fact that Newt Gingrich, a contender in the GOP presidential race, is also involved with the FDD calls into question the integrity and legitimacy of the US State Department-funded FDD, Kirchick, and Gingrich himself. (click image to enlarge)

The FDD, perhaps in an attempt to maintain some sort of “plausible deniability” has removed Gingrich’s name from their organizational charts, however letters he signed as an FDD “distinguished advisor” can be found dated 2007-2008. The Land Destroyer Report had also cited throughout this year that Newt Gingrich was still an adviser at FDD, however the links are now dead.

Image: A screen shot from AEI’s website (accessed December 21, 2011) featuring Newt Gingrich’s profile which states he is an advisory board member of the FDD. (click image to enlarge)

Compounding this immense conflict of interest and possible fraud, is the fact that Newt Gingrich is also a “former senior fellow,” and currently a “scholar” at the American Enterprise Institute which hosted a recent GOP presidential foreign policy debate. Gingrich’s biography on the AEI website also states that he is, “an advisory board member of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies,” suggesting that indeed, he is a current adviser at the FDD from which recent attacks on Ron Paul have originated.

s it then hypocrisy, or irony that FDD has on its leash a homosexual “journalist,” Kirchick, ceaselessly attacking Gingrich’s and other establishment GOP contenders’ only real competition, Ron Paul? Especially when Gingrich has used the issue of homosexuality as a political football throughout his career, including during his current presidential campaign?

Kirchick is described by the FDD as, “a leading voice on American gay politics and international gay rights, he is a contributing writer to the Advocate, the nation’s largest gay publication. Mr Kirchick is a recipient of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association Journalist of the Year Award.” Either Kirchick is disingenuous about his concerns for promoting the homosexual cause, or Gingrich and his Neo-Conservative peers are disingenuous in opposing it. At the end of the day, it isn’t about sexual orientation, it is about the pandemic of exploitative deceit and hypocrisy that infests America’s political establishment.

It would seem Gingrich’s “moral” views hold steady for as long as he is in front of the camera, and in reality is willing to work with anyone and do anything to climb up the sycophantic ladder of globalist elitism, at the cost of the principles he disingenuously peddles, and the well-intentioned people who foolishly invest their trust in him.

As one scratches just beneath the surface of this latest attack on Ron Paul, more seems to reflect back on those intent on defaming their competitors rather than besting them in the arena of ideas, issues, and principles.

Ron Paul bests Newt Gingrich by 11 points in new Iowa PPP poll

Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, triumphed in a new Public Policy Polling poll of likely Iowa GOP caucusgoers released late Tuesday. Mr. Paul bested former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who finished in second and third place, respectively. This is the first post-Christmas poll in the Hawkeye State.

Mr. Paul won the Iowa PPP poll with 24 percent of the votes. Mr. Romney pulled in 20 percent of the votes and Mr. Gingrich garnered 13 percent of the votes.

Approximately one week ago, Mr. Paul surprised political pundits by winning an Iowa PPP poll. In the latest Iowa PPP poll Mr. Paul’s support has risen by 1 percentage point, Mr. Romney’s support has remained steady and Mr. Gingrich’s support has dropped by 1 percentage point. Several weeks ago, Mr. Gingrich seemed poised to win the Iowa Caucuses on January 3rd.

Mr. Paul has faced increased media scrutiny over the last several days for his association with a series of racist newsletters that were published in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Despite the media coverage of the issue, Mr. Paul’s support in Iowa does not appear to be impacted as the latest Iowa PPP poll was conducted on December 26th and December 27th.

In the week leading up to Christmas, Mr. Paul won four out of five Iowa polls. Despite Mr. Paul’s poll victories, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee thinks that Mr. Romney will win the Hawkeye State.

“I would probably say that Mitt Romney will end up winning it today,” Mr. Huckabee posited on “Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.”

During an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Tuesday, Mr. Gingrich slammed Mr. Paul’s chances of winning the Republican presidential nomination.

“He’s not going to get the nomination. It won’t happen,” Mr. Gingrich told Mr. Blitzer. Mr. Gingrich added that “he’s got to come up with some very straight answers to get somebody to take him seriously.”

However, other poll watchers have a different view of Mr. Paul’s chances.

“If Ron Paul really manages to change the electorate by turning out large numbers of young people and independents he should win Iowa,” Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling, said, according to a PPP press release.

“If it’s a more traditional turnout with an older electorate, Romney will probably win. And given his personal popularity it’s worth keeping an eye on Santorum in the final week,” Mr. Debnam added.

Public Policy Polling interviewed 565 likely Iowa Republican caucus goers on December 26th and December 27th. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.

Romney Still Calling Individual Healthcare Mandate “Conservative”

Writes The American Spectator’sJames Antle:

Mitt Romney defended the individual mandate as “fundamentally a conservative principle”today… the fact that Romney is defending the policy at the heart of Obamacare – which President Obama also defends on “individual responsibility” grounds — complicates both the legal and political case for junking the federal health care law.

[CIM Comment]

WOW, wth?  Romney spins on Romney, all in the same breath!  Government mandated healthcare is taking individual responsibility and not relying on government.  I think that Mittens is overdue for a drug test.  IMHO, I think Romney would make a good VP running partner for Obama.  And Romney says that this socialist policy is conservative in nature, lmao!  It is time to end this political fiasco being pulled on the American people.

Kelly Clarkson Musicbomb – As a show of support for endorsing Ron Paul

Kelly Clarkson Credits: MTV

Some Ron Paul supporters are attempting to show Kelly Clarkson financial support for endorsing Ron Paul:

Let’s return Kelly some love today by getting her latest album back into the top 10.

Her Tweet/Facebook post “I love Ron Paul…” is huge, gutsy and came at the perfect time.

Dr. Paul is on the verge of major breakout in support and things like this are just the catalyst the movement needs. She has a huge fan base, and those that agree with many of Dr. Paul’s positions but believed his followers were crazy nutjobs, are more apt to feel comfortable supporting him when their respected heroes such as Kelly point out the Emperor is in fact not wearing any clothes.

It takes a lot of guts for any musician to come out in support of a candidate for the simple fact they may offend some fans that might not agree with one’s views and possibly lose out in record sales.

Let’s show Kelly the opposite is also possible, especially when it comes to the Liberty Movement.

Her latest album Stronger is currently #41 in Amazon’s Best Sellers list and #15 on iTunes - let’s get it back to the top of charts!

Purchase at Amazon (Includes Dailypaul referral tag)
- or at iTunes

Maybe the small surge in sales will be noticed by other musicians who are skeptical or afraid to come out in support – for as we all know truth is treason in an empire of lies.

Kelly may prefer that you send your money to Ron Paul, but I’m sure that she would also love to be back in the top 10!

Jesse Ventura Endorses Ron Paul as the Only Anti-war Candidate

By Kurt Nimmo

Appearing on Alex Jones’ nationally syndicated radio show today, the former governor of Minnesota and best selling author, Jesse Ventura, emphatically declared his support for Ron Paul’s presidential run.

“Ron Paul has Governor Jesse Ventura’s endorsement without a doubt,” he said. “It’s not even close. Because I want a new president that is going to change the direction of this country. I want a new president that is going to follow the Constitution. I want a new president that is going to believe in states’ rights. I want somebody that will shock the status quo.”

Jesse said Ron Paul is the only candidate that will put an end to the establishment’s wars and foreign adventures.

“It’s a simple as this,” he said. “If people truly are looking for an attempt at change in this country – changing who are and what we will be in the future – then there is only one candidate, and that is congressman Ron Paul. He’s the only candidate that wants to audit the Federal Reserve… he is the only candidate that wants to talk rather than wage war, so I think this will truly be an agenda for the United States of America, an agenda to determine what we stand for. Do we stand for being the most aggressive, war-mongering country in the world who is all set to go to war with Iran, too, or are we going to be a country that stands for peace?”

Jesse said that there has not been a president since John F. Kennedy who worked for peace and opposed the endless war policies of the ruling elite. Ron Paul is the first candidate since Kennedy to oppose the perpetual war agenda, he explained.

He criticized the corporate media for its effort to portray Paul’s foreign policy philosophy as “scary” and said the exact opposite it true – the foreign policy of the establishment and its handpicked candidates is scary. “All we do is go to war – one after another after another – and I’m one of the people being a veteran who says stop it, that’s enough of this,” Ventura said.

If America wants a change in direction, Jesse said, the only choice for president in 2012 is Ron Paul. “He is then only one who says we ought to talk before we shoot.”

Ventura cited as an example the response of the United States to Iran’s announcement that if may block the Strait of Hormuz if the United States and the EU impose a crippling embargo – essentially an act of war – on the country. The U.S. has vowed to respond if Iran blocks the strategic waterway.

He compared the latest actions of the U.S. to an earlier embargo – the oil embargo imposed on Japan by the United States that ultimately resulted in the attack on Pearl Harbor and the start of the Second World War.
